Scientific & Technical Translation
Biomedical, pharmaceutical, engineering, and IT documentation handled by translators with domain qualifications.
Legal translation in Italy operates within a specific framework. When a document is required for a court hearing, a notarial deed, an immigration application, or any official proceeding, the translation must typically be accompanied by a sworn declaration from a translator registered with the relevant tribunal. That declaration carries legal weight. Getting it wrong has consequences that extend well beyond a bad translation.
Our sworn translators are registered with Italian tribunals for their respective language pairs. For each sworn translation, the translated document is accompanied by a signed and stamped declaration attesting to its accuracy and completeness. For documents that will be used in foreign jurisdictions, we can advise on whether apostille certification is required and assist with the process.
We regularly handle contracts, birth and marriage certificates, divorce decrees, criminal records, driving licences, educational certificates, court orders, immigration documents, power of attorney, company articles, and patent documents. If your document type is not listed here, contact us: the list of what we cover is broader than what fits on a page.
Confidentiality is treated with particular seriousness for legal documents. We sign mutual NDAs before receiving any material, and all sworn translators in our network operate under strict confidentiality agreements.
