A sworn translation is carried out by a translator officially registered with a court (in Italy, a "traduttore giurato"). The translator signs a formal declaration that the translation is faithful. Certified translations may include similar declarations but without the court registration. For Italian legal proceedings, the sworn declaration is usually required. We can advise on what your specific document needs.

Most work is priced per word, with rates depending on the language pair, subject matter, and urgency. We also offer the three flat-rate packages on our pricing page. For ongoing clients, retainer arrangements are available. You always receive a fixed quote before we start. No surprises.

Express 24-hour delivery is available as a paid add-on for standard documents up to around 2,000 words. For larger projects with urgent deadlines, contact us first so we can tell you honestly what is achievable. We would rather confirm an accurate timeline than promise something we cannot deliver.

Our core pairs are Italian combined with English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese. For Japanese, Greek, Polish, Turkish, and less common pairs, we work with verified partner translators. If you have a language pair we have not listed, ask us first.

We sign NDAs on request at no charge. All translators in our network operate under non-disclosure agreements. Files are transferred over encrypted channels and deleted within 90 days of delivery unless you request longer retention. We never process client documents on public cloud platforms.

Yes. If you have an existing TM in TMX or XLIFF format, send it to us and we will use it to keep your terminology consistent and reduce repetition costs. For ongoing clients, we maintain and update TMs as part of standard service.
